Tried upgrading the ProX SSD @ Microsoft Store

Went to the msft store in Charlotte. They don't offer any way to upgrade the ssds. They don't sell the hard drives and they do not have t change them.

They said they can only switch ssds for units that have faulty ssd.

Anyone else tried asking about upgrading their ssds in their stores?

It is easily done yourself. I purchased the 128gb version and then upgraded it myself. You can find the actual Toshiba/Kioxia drive here:

It takes literally 5-10 minutes to remove and replace. Make sure you create a recovery usb before the upgrade at Microsoft; then use the recovery usb to install fresh onto the upgraded SSD. The recovery part takes about 20-30 minutes. The 256gb upgrade is actually faster (read/write speeds) than the original 128gb ssd.
