Surface 3 - What is a normal temperature?

Surface 3 - Temperature

Hi there,

I just bought my Surface 3 and found it a bit hot for my liking.

Temp is usually at around 55-60degrees, and goes up to 75-80 when on load (Checked with SpeedFan)

The back is also warm to the touch.

Surface 3 owners, what temperature do you get?

I've never check my temperature per se. Don't even know how to do that. But I would say that yours is pretty hot. Does your fan come on any? If you use it for a while, especially when its plugged in, it will get hot triggering the fan. I've had mine for almost a year and I honestly can count on two hands (maybe 3) how many times the fan has come on. So I'd say yours is running pretty hot.

It's the Surface 3, not the Pro, so no fan.
