Remember that last year, SP3 was announced around May, and released in Aug.
Don't you think its a little too late to be announcing SP4 now in Oct? THen what, release it in November?

Look at the announcement of Microsoft Band. It was by word of mouth that made it a hot item. Released the same it was announced.

If this trend continues for Microsoft, then yea, we will see SP4 at your local MS store next week, and I will drive to one as soon as the conference is over.

Yes, pretty doubtful. Before things get launched, there's inevitably someone in the distribution chain who blabs, early listings on websites appear and then quickly get taken down again.

I'd count myself lucky if I learn an actual date and details of launch markets.
