While I am still waiting my i7 to be send it would be nice thing to read some positive feedback from SP4. Currently there is so much negative feedback online that I am considering cancelling the order.

1. It's the perfect size. An inch bigger, and it's too big to be used portably as a tablet, like say, in bed. An inch smaller and it's too small for me to use it at my desk as my main computer. As is, it's great for both uses.
2. I love being able to take handwritten notes when I have a client in my office with the Surface Pen.
3. I love that the Pen, which comes free with the Surface, has an eraser on the end and magnetically attaches to the tablet.
4. I love the kickstand that allows me to use it at a desk as a computer or in bed as a tablet for watching videos. And it has multiple positions so I can get it just right.
5. The image quality is spectacular.
6. Speakers beat out the speakers on my previous full laptop.
7. I love that I can install Bluestacks and through it, pull in all of my favorite Android apps to my Start menu.
8. Windows Hello (the iris scanner that facial recognition that logs you in to Windows after it recognizes your face) works so well and so fast. It gives you the speed of logging straight into your computer without a security feature....and yet the security you'd get with a fingerprint scanner that takes too long to log you in!

Regarding the negative comments you've seen here.....Keep in mind, forums like these are primarily used by people to report problems they're having. You don't go to the Complaint Department to hear objective reviews of something. If you want to hear objective reviews, go to Youtube and type Surface Pro 4 review. You'll get a whole new perspective and excitement about the device.

Versus the competition it has the best kickstand (without limited angles), the best screen, the smallest bezels, no "potentially unwanted software" preinstalled, nvme SSD, windows hello and keyboard in a range of colors ;) It's a nice device IMO, I just wish there was an 8Gb fanless option and better USB (more than single port, USB-C etc).

I have to remember to try this.

I agree with most of your numbers. Some I haven't played with yet. Haven't used the pen except to try it out to make sure it works. Do want to use it though. Think it would come in handy. One Note is new to me so have to play with that too. And haven't set up Windows Hello.

I agree. I had 2 bad ones. Exchanged them. This 3rd one seems to be working fairly well. Had a couple of display driver crashes in Firefox but nothing extreme. Hasn't happened in a while so maybe the recent updates fixed it. I wish my battery was better, but that I suspect may be in part of the programs I'm running.

This is my 1st Surface Pro and I'm really liking it.

I love that it's basically an engineering marvel and that everyone today is so jaded to remember that even 5 years ago something like this was outright impossible. The hardware is near perfection. Its just Win10 on mobile devices that basically sucks right now due to battery and UX regressions. Look at the WinMo reviews about crashes too. The positive is that software can be fixed. It's just a question of how much good will MS is willing to squander. :/

I love that diehard iPeople at work look at my SP4 and tell me how they were disappointed that the iPad Pro was basically a giant iPad. :)
