Anyone experiencing a lot of disk I/O on the Surface Pro 4? I have been monitoring the disk utilization and noticed that the disk is being written to a lot. a lot more than my Windows 10 PC. Seems to be writing to a lot of logs which I don't remember turning on. NTFS Volumne log, System32\logfiles\WMI\wifi.eti , and wfpdiag.eti files are some of the heavy hitters.

Going to google these files and when I understand more I will let you know. any thoughts would be appreciated.

From the minimal info I have read so far the NTFS Volume log is busy making sure that the drive is performing it write functions correctly. That should happen but why is the log writing so much? Some say it is caused by the recording of what the browser is doing and others say its recording everything that the user is doing. still looking into it in my spare time
