Hi all

As you will see from the attached screenshot, my SP4 has tried to install the driver updates for pretty much the past two weeks but they are failing to install.

Has anybody else had this problem and found a solution? Restarting hasn't helped so far; as soon as it logs in again I get the same message in action/notification centre that the device needs to restart to install updates.

I have the Core M model and am on the Release Preview ring, build 15063.332.

Many thanks
Paul

Try this - sometimes Windows just doesn't want to update, or can be stubborn etc. Also, there are instances that i have read about where a user has to "wait in a cue" in order to update. Check this link and let us know if it helps.

Thanks for your response. Before trying that I remembered the Troubleshoot section of Settings, and decided to troubleshoot Windows Update just now. It found and fixed 3 errors and, upon restarting the SP4, the driver updates finally installed 🙂.
