For the specs, this is pretty much impossible to beat. It's a new device, just without the VR headset.

I have an Idol 4S, and it definitely has some bugs. And Windows 10 Mobile is on life support. But, if you're like me and want to remain on Windows 10 Mobile for awhile, this is definitely the way to go. As much as I like it, $100 is about as much as i'd be willing to spend on a device running Windows 10 Mobile right now.

I'm surprised they charge an extra $70 for the headset!
my 950 is running fine right now, and I really wanted to go back to 5" or less screen size. For $100 though, I could put up with a bigger phone. :)

I bought an Idol 4S with the VR headset for $250CAD last year. I bought a second one for $125CAD so I'd have a backup phone in case I break my primary. I don't think I'll ever need it but these are awesome phones.

Annnnnddddd I got one. :winktongue: $100 is still hard to beat. As far as the phone goes, yep it is too big, but I'll use it. Colors are really saturated, with no apparent way to adjust it. :( Fingerprint reader is cool, but having it right below camera means fingerprints on the camera... Also, I think it reads my fingerprint better when I am putting it IN my pocket rather than when I take it out. I've pocket dialed several people already. Camera is OK compared to 950, not as great, and the response of the first shot is a little iffy. Still quite nice though. I love the forward facing speakers! much better range/response. The phone is noticeably stiffer than my 950; I don't worry about it twisting/bending in my pocket.

Alcatel Idol 4S comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display protected by Dragontrail Glass, a 21MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 clocked at 2.15GHz, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage (with microSD support), and a 3000mAh battery.

It supports bands GSM network: 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS 2/4/5, LTE2/4/12. AT&T 4G HSPA and HSPA+ use 850Mhz(Band 5) and 1900Mhz(Band 2) bands and AT&T LTE uses Band 17(700Mhz), Band 5(850Mhz), Band 2(1900Mhz), Band 4(1700/2100Mhz) currently, so the device should be compatible, depending on the area. https://audacity.onl/ https://findmyiphone.onl/ https://origin.onl/

While it does not make much sense to invest in a Windows Phone now, the knock-down price makes the deal irresistible if you were already steeped in the ecosystem and looking to replace your existing device in any case, or simply wanted to give a cheap smartphone to someone without a great need for apps.
