It's trolling when you are on a Lumia/Windows Phone enthusiast site with 11 posts throwing out opinions as facts without backing them up
I've been following Nokia for a long time, I know their history and what they can do.

I'm giving a good advice, do not pre-order this phone, because once it's compared and iPhone 5S, Galaxy S4 and 808 wipe floor with it, you will be disappointed.

I can't say I agree here. I mean how many of us bought an 808 for its awesome auto mode? Anyone buying a camera phone and is more concerned with just quick shots in auto mode, really shouldn't be worried about getting a 41mp beast with all those available settings. Don't you think? Be it the 808 or 1020.
If you have the money why not get the best there is even if you may not always use all the advanced features? Nokia has clearly advertised the 1020 for begginer and enthusiast photographers alike, thats why they made the Pro camera app so easy to use. The bottom line is that the 1020 is the king of camera phones, therefore it should be given that it can take better Auto shots than any other smartphone out there.
The 808 was more of a niche device not because of the camera but mainly because of the OS used, on the other hand the 1020 uses a modern phone OS that is way more mainstream than the 808 one was.

Okay, so serious question, do you think the 1020's camera is at least better than the 920?

Is no one here finding it the least bit Suspicious that after so many people begging for a pic of the actual 1020 he is using he still has not uploaded even one pic of it? Plus he keeps saying he's going to post pictures of this and that and whatever and yet nothing has been uploaded for 2 days now....

Dude if you are all legit then I am sorry for bashing you man and thanks alot for the trouble but come on, WE NEED TO SEE THEM PICS!!

I have become a big Nokia fan and I am super exited about the 1020, although I probably wont get one myself (waiting to see what they bring to the table in December)

As for cod3rror please go bother some people over at the android forums or something because you are stinking up this thread!

just a quick question: The Cam Pro app is available on Store or it's built-in the 1020? If it's in Store can you provide us the link to check it out (using share).

Haha,I have a connection that is letting me play around with it until my yellow preorder comes in. I can add after playing around that the screen and the sound are great and that it really feels great in the hand. My one complaint is that due to the camerabulge it is harder to use when it is on a table without holding it.

THe problem is this is a phone. If I am going to go through all the trouble of changing those settings then why don't I just bringa really good point and shoot with me or a dslr in the first place?

The auto settings HAVE TO BE GOOD. that's the whole point. if I change all those settings I will miss the shot with a phone camera. Also the fact that this phone is $100 more on contract then the 920 is a big deal .

This is being marketed as the best camera in a phone period. Yet the pictures are not hugely better then the 920 being used in day to day uses.

Besides the megapixels a lot of what the phone can do will be ported over to the 920. the pro camera software is coming to the 920 also.
It's because you won't have to lug around that big, clunky dSLR around with you? Sure, for any venue you would normally take a dSLR too, go ahead and take it with you, as it will obviously still knock out better photos.

The whole point of this device is so that you can take very nice shots without the need to carry around or own a dSLR, and if you forgot your pro camera, you always have the 1020 on you as a back up. But if you want to carry that dSLR around with you everywhere, just to ensure you don't miss a shot, then be my guest.

The biggest problem in having with the camera on mine is the color reproduction. Everything looks kinda yellow, and it seems like the pictures adjust themselves to look even more yellow as soon as I go to review it. Its driving me nuts! Are you having the same issue at all?
The OP seems to have left the "sunny" filter on, so that very well could be a problem. Some photos posted by other users (see girl eating pizza) look stupendous, and are exactly what I was expecting from this phone.
