Status icons to stick

Hi all,

I'm brand new to the Windows Phone 8 game and bought a used 1020. I've had various old school winmo phones before like the Moto MPx200 and the MPx220. It is not my primary phone and I bought it mostly for the camera to take pics whenever I have my phone. Haven't had the phone for long but one thing that irks me is that the status icons (cell strength, wifi, battery, etc) on the top do not stay there and always disappears. I can make them reappear by sliding down from the top but is there any way or option to keep it always there?

No way that I know of to make them stick and always appear. Perhaps when WP8.1 comes out it will be a option.

Doh, well thanks for confirming. At least I know it's not just me unable to find setting to do so...
