I have been trying to disassemble my 1020 to replace the battery to no avail. I have followed the instructions, loosening the screw slowly 8 full turns with a T4, but it will not release the screen. It appears that the locking rail assembly might be broken. Which is odd, because this is my first attempt at opening the phone. it may have been broken from the factory.
Any other suggestions, on how to get the screen off so that I can get the battery replaced?
