After reading about 1520 , I decided to go for it and sell my 920 . After placing the order , a friend warned me about its size and I got cold feet . Yesterday I received the 1520 and loved it right away . The screen is awesome and now the 920 looks terrible and colors look washed out and the size is perfect and fits perfect in my pocket . Reviews about its size is misleading and the phone is perfect and I don't know how I lived without it

Thanks for the perspective. I've noticed that very few people who actually have owned the 1520 think it is too big. It seems to mostly be people who say "I could never use something that big" without having tried it.

Many people like myself had reservations about the size until we actually held one. In my case it took me a day or two to "adjust" to the larger size and after that I never looked back. I love my 1520.

I switched from the 925 to the 1520 and I love the new screen real estate on my 1520. It took me one or two days to get used to it though :)

I'm planning on upgrading from my current WP 7.8 Lumia 900 to the 1520 with WP 8.1 when it comes out late April/early May. I think you made a great choice with the 1520, but you might have to wait a few months to get the 8.1 update like they mentioned at the keynote on Day 1 of Build instead of getting it in a few weeks. Just a suggestion, but to get WP 8.1 soon, I'd return the phone with the $35 restocking fee and wait a few weeks to get the 8.1 version.

Where di you hear that the 1520 will be shipped with 8.1 before it is released to the other 1520 as an update?

I went from the Lumia 520 to 1520. The difference was radical, specially in performance. Apps starting much faster and running much smoother.

I sort of inferred it:
-Joe Belfiore (or another speaker during the day 1 keynote) mentioned there would be new Windows Phone 8.1 devices (such as the new Lumias mentioned on April 2nd) available in late april/early May.
-When the 7.8 update for the Nokia Lumia 900 came out, AT&T started selling them with the update already on them months before it came to my phone as an update. Since the 8.1 update will be coming in a few months, I'd expect they'd do the same for existing phones like the 1520.
-When I saw Daniel Rubino's video about the 1520 with 8.1 (http://www.windowscentral.com/windows-phone-81-blazes-lumia-1520-video-tour) running so smoothly, I thought that it would make even more sense for Nokia/Microsoft to sell 1520s with 8.1 at around the same time that they start selling the 630, 635, and 930.

Awesome!! I also upgrade from my black 920 to my brand spankin' new yellow 1520!
Loving all the screen real estate, the performance, the colours, the YELLOW!
And if the battery life estimates are to be believed, here's to some very long battery life

I watched some video reviews about the 1520 .. And they really mentioned the size as a very limiting factor, but yesterday I got my hands on one at the mall and Man;!! This thing is really amazing, can't see why people don't like it for the size.
I'm getting one as soon as I sell my HTC 8x.
And I'm guessing it will be the white one.

Yes the difference between 5" and 6" doesn't sound much but you really notice it when your using it. Plus the 930 is going to be remembered more for what it didn't have (glance and sd card)

True and coming from a Note2 with it's 5.5" screen... I'd notice the loss of .5"... I wanna go up.. not down.
