Hello 1520 owners.

I just asked a little while ago about being able to tap the screen to take photos..someone responded that yes you can. While reading another thread I saw someone say that it is only available in the Windows Phone Camera App and not Nokia's.

If this is true, is there a quality difference in the photos taken with the two apps?

If so, is it WP Camera App worse or better?

Don't hold me to this but I believe Nokia's camera app is better than the regular WP app. Nokia's gives you a LOT more customization options wise and I believe it has better zoom options, and the like.

OK great, thanks for the info. I wonder why the Nokia app doesn't let you touch the screen to take a picture. Seems like a standard these days.

I am able to tap the screen using the Nokia Camera app on mine. There is a small camera icon that you touch to take the picture.

OK great. Thanks again. Most likely going to order tomorrow. I appreciate all the help.

I'll just reiterate:

I've tried the default app, Nokia Camera and even ProShot - all support screen tapping to take the photo.

You should be fine with this mate. Good luck :)

yes u can take the pics by touching the screen even in nokia camera app. but in nokia camera app u have to touch the camera icon in the screen.if we touch anywhere else it will only focus that area. imo its ideal so u can focus without taking accidental pics.
