I received my new 1520 yesterday. I am coming from a 920, a 900 before that and a Samsung Focus.
It is a 1520.2 on AT&T. It is red.
I don't seem to have the common bugs like screen sensitivity but it came with that setting set to Normal and that seems good enough for me. It was not good enough on my 920 and I had it on high.
I did notice this morning that both Waze and Here Maps won't flop orientation. Clearly the phone setting for orientation (Rotation Lock) is off. I even moved it to a button on my Notification page.
I can also see that internal app settings for Waze and Here Maps are not forcing Rotation Lock on. Here is the kicker:
Amazon Kindle app flips orientation just fine inside a book. The camera flips just fine, too.
Has anyone seen this or have an idea?
This phone is large and in charge and the screen is gorgeous. Which is what I wanted. My 920 didn't have anything wrong with it. I will miss Qi charging but I only used that on my desk at work and there are plenty of cables around.
Thank you.
