Screen burn-in/retention

Anyone notice that the Lumia 635's screen has temporary burn-in/image retention issues? I first noticed it yesterday after running the Speedtest.net app for a few minutes. Afterward, I opened another app, and saw the text and speedometer from the app still ghost imaged on the screen. I was concerned for a while thinking my month-old phone already had a burnt-in screen, but I noticed that after a few minutes the ghosted image was gone. I am concerned, however, about the long term effects of some on-screen elements having permanent burn-in, like the on-screen buttons or Start screen tiles, for example.

Hmmm...

Not seeing any burn in on mine.
Maybe I have been mistaken thinking that IPS LCD's don't suffer from burn in.

Q's for the OP:
How long have you had the phone?
Is the screen brightness maxed and how long is the timeout set for?

I've seen this on some LCD's. It should be temporary as you've seen.
My dad's Lenovo tablet exhibits it, I've seen note of it on a review for an HP Android, and I've seen a thread about a 520 having it.
I would chalk it up to a less-than-amazing display.

My 635 has been doing that as well.

For another data point, I have not noticed this on my 635. I mostly keep brightness level at medium if that matters.

My 635 was lost / stolen and the new replacement does the exact same thing. I don't mind it in a phone at this price point but if it were a high end phone I wouldn't expect to see it. I suspect that most users won't notice or mind as the effect is fairly subtle.

I have horrible burn-in/retention issues with my screen. It's really awful. I'm pretty well disgusted with this phone after coming from a Lumia 620.
