So I had to switch from Verizon to T-Mobile and bought a 635 to hold me over for the rest of grad school until I can afford a higher end windows phone, and I am impressed. I was using an 8X and Windows Phone 8.1 is a step in the right direction. I know some people have their issues with it but so far I think the pros out weigh the cons.
As far as the 635 itself, for a 100$, this thing is awesome. You get what you pay for but I feel like it exceeds my expectations. Any limitations are really hardware specific imo. There is some occasional lag and resuming issues but the phone cost me $99.99 so I'm straight.
Now I'm just waiting for update 1 so I can have this live folders!

We are glad that you're enjoying your phone.

You can get the update 1 from preview for developers. Though you could wait for the official release.
I have 620, no plans to upgrade. I don't do anything on my phone besides Facebook, music and calls.

I am going to wait for the official update. I'm content right now and don't want to risk anything to have update 1.
Have it with o issues. Most of the "issues" people experienced with dp before was due to running wp8.1 without the drivers for it (cyan). That is no longer the case.

Same here. Running the DforP with update on my 635 for 2 weeks now. No issues at all (unlike my 925 w/o Cyan).

Same exact situation with me just switched from Verizon to tmobile from a 928-635

Battery is noticeably better. The 635 is great but my minor gives are no front camera, ram (6tag closes alot), lack of a camera button on the side.

But regardless it's a good one for the price in actually looking to get the 830 or the 1520.3 haven't really decided yet hoping for a new high end to be released
