How do I change the camera resolution?

Change camera resolution

Hi,

I took a couple pictures, but their resolution was 2mp. How can I change camera resolution to 5mp? I couldn't find in setup menu.

If you have a lumia
#1. Camera -> Settings -> Capture Mode
#2. Camera -> Settings -> Aspect Ratio

How did you obtain the photos? Were they emailed, fetched from OneDrive, taken with the front-facer?

Thanks. I changed " Camera -> Settings -> Aspect Ratio" to 4:3 from 16:9, the resolution changed to 1632*1218 from 1632*916. there is a setting in camera named "resolution", but it has two options 4:3 or 16:9.

After I took, I emailed to myself.

Edit: OMG! You are right. I checked from OneDrive, it is 5 mp. What is the problem with email.

email compresses/resizes the photos by default, presumably to save space/data
