Hi guys,
Recently i bought a Nokia Lumia 720. I'm new to Windows Phone 8 as early i used a Symbian device(Nokia 603).
I have installed a few apps and games . When i downloaded the Lumia Storage check i found that Apps and Games are using more space than mentioned while downloading it from the Marketplace.
Angry Birds Space was 15MB and now its showing 49MB in lumia storage check.
Same with other applications and games. Skate dog is using 79MB memory.
I'm worried because my internal memory is getting used up very quickly.
Please help me. Does this happens with all Windows Phone devices?:crying:

The size in the marketplace is the download size, the file then "unpacks" itself during the install and therefore you end up with more space being taken up.

It isn't a problem per say. It is designed that way. Think of it like a program on a computer. You must have installation files first. Then you install. Which gives the software and normally takes up more space. It would be nice if they mentioned the amount of space it takes up after the apps installed in the store though.

^As you start using the app, it'll build a database which'll eat more space, ex. - levels you complete in a game will eat more space.
