How to remove back cover on 720

Hi, i want to install the qi charging circuit from the clip on charger directly into the phone. I believe this has been done already with the L925. Can someone please tell me how to safely remove the rear cover? Has anyone tried this mod on the L720? I just hate these clip on charging plates!

I don't think it's been done yet. If you want to know how to disassemble the 720 then have a look at the service manual.

Well, at the weekend I removed the charging wires from the plate and fitted it inside my L720. Works perfectly, now no need to attach charging plates! Even works through the Nokia genuine covers.

Hi, I am thinking to replace my battery cover as well, but I have noticed that the new cover I received doesn't have these copper looking charging plates/ wires that run down the back of the cover. Does one have to take them off the current cover and affix them to the new, replacement cover?
I'm a little confused on that part? If so, is it easy, or is there soldering or anything tricky involved? I would like to know prior to taking apart the phone.
