Good day everyone,
Just something I would like to share with you fellow 720 users
Recently, I've upgraded my 720 from Portico to Lumia Black with 8.1 preview (Long story short, I've downgraded from lumia black to portico then upgraded back to black for the 8.1 update, I flashed a France ROM) and I noticed the picture quality "degraded" again, especially in LOW-LIGHT conditions. But I've tried playing with the settings in Nokia Camera, with my phone attached to a tripod and here are the results: (These images were captured in low-light conditions)
Auto Settings/ Default Settings:
Manual Settings: ISO set to 100
Manual Settings 2: ISO raised to 3200 ( this setting makes the image look washed out )
As you can see, the 2nd image looks good above the others and really feels like the quality is somewhat close to when the Lumia 720 was in Portico/GDR1 stage (Before Amber & Black updates ruined the post processing of the image)
Hope this could somehow help those who are having problems with the 720's camera, comments or thoughts are very welcome
