Just use the Access Point application update on June 13 to work with the Lumia 822 for getting GSM 3G on the Portico update.

Works with my White Verizon Lumia 822 on C&W Panam?

Should I bother with the access point if I can edit internet apn under cellular settings anyway?

Also, is it okay now for me to update my flashed .0003 unit to Portico? Or will I still be getting SMS/Data problems?

if you update your phone, you can use access point to fix the data problem, but i dont know what will happend to SMS

If you update access point through LUMIA Pusher, then yes. Works like a charm in the Netherlands

I regret to say that you still cannot send sms. For me its not a problem, but I can see this being an issue

As I posted above, 3G works for me...even sending and receiving SMS. I haven't tested MMS.
