Ok, so I took a peek at Zune for some music, found an album and clicked on it and it proceeded to play a sample of the songs. So, here's the thing, I couldn't figure out how to stop the songs from playing. I saw that the song was on the lock screen but couldn't get the song off of the lock screen? I ended up restarting the phone and it was gone, thank goodness.

Download an app called stop the music! It...stops the music.

That's sort of by design. Just 'pausing' the song stops the data stream. As was suggested, 'Stop the Music' clears that out.

Well, open another song. Or open/close a video to clear the "now playing" song.

You can also just pause the song. It will then clear from your lock screen.
There is also an option in settings to not have the song art automatically display as the lock screen.

I'm actually starting to like this feature. Keeps the music player accessible. I also like how the music stops automatically when I pull the headphone plug out of the jack.
