Not receiving notifications from multiple apps.

Hey guys, I'm a first time poster. I just got my Lumia 920 yesterday and for some reason when I'm using the messaging app for Facebook is doesn't send to the other person. I also don't receive messages from others. When I receive an SMS I get a notification though, what could be the problem? I also don't receive notifications from the Xbox app when somebody sends me a message. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No, I factory reset my phone and that seems to have fixed it. Any idea what might of happened in case it happens again?
