Emails syncing as read not unread

Hey guys, my email through ATT has been giving me troubles. First of all, I constantly have to re-enter my password all the time in order for it to sync. And now just starting yesterday , my emails syncs fine now BUT I get NO notifications and it is showing all emails as read, even the new ones that just synced. I've turned the phone off, removed the live tile and re-pinned to home screen. I don't know how to fix. Ideas? Is this happening to anyone else?

What type of mail account is it? Hotmail? gmail?

An @att.net email....my rocketmail and my other @att.net don't have this problem, just my maine email

And my att.net email is back to not being able to sync...constantly having me re enter my password to only have it try to sync and re enter my password...a never ending loop....this and my tapatalk not being able to connect to the only forum I use the app for is really making me want to go back to iPhone........

Have you contacted AT&T and asked them for help troubleshooting?

Not yet, I know I should, but something in me feels the wpcentral folks are more intuitive than they are...ill give ATT a try
