Took this with at the beach with Nokia Refocus, then colour popped it.
Biggest piece of damn flotsam I've ever seen!

Then it was only afterwards I realised it's the Windows logo

Last month, I took my grandmother's dog out to the yard at night to do his business and he went crazy barking at what I thought was a cat. It was a possum! I was so shocked because I'd never seen one up close and personal. Snapped some shots:

Is this happening to anyone else? Once you take a picture with flash, the pic looks fantastic but then when viewing it, the scene tends to be greenish in some parts of the pic. Also, once you take a pic, after, it becomes soft and not as sharp as before when viewing them.

It's a thing that happens with the 925. For some reason, there's occasionally a greenish tint on pictures taken with it. I think it's mostly just when Flash is enabled.

Hi all. Went out last night with a mate to take a load of pics of a local church in a village. This was a little challenge between me and my mate to see who can take the best night time shots, as I have my new Nokia Lumia 925 and he has a Sony Xperia Z1.

Here's my pics...

Now I took the above photos with the Nokia Camera App that came with the phone. Without changing any settings and with the flash off. I did at one point try to take some pics with the ISO set to 200 and 100, (as I read somewhere that was the right settings for night time shots) but I ended up with blurry images.

Now the pics above are superb anyway. However, I had a problem regarding the colours. The following pics I took with the flash ON, and they turned out spot on, i.e. great quality with the CORRECT colours! Take a look....

So is there a setting I should change (other than the flash) that can give me the correct colours? We also did a daylight test on various items, and I found that his Sony Xperia Z1 was more true colours than my phone.
Don't get me wrong, I think this phone is brilliant! I love it. But I just need to get the colour thing sorted.

Can anyone offer me advice? Other than buying an Xperia Z1. :D
Thanks.

I use the default camera. In the past, I've also used Smart Shot (but could never figure out how to create an animation out of it), ProShot and of course, the Nokia camera.

ISO 100 or 200 is correct, You just have to stabilize the phone really well since it'll set longer exposures. Regarding the colors, You can play around with manual white balance settings. I have a 920 and often use daylight or even cloudy at night. But in general I've seen a 925 take less colourful images then the 920 when compared directly. But then again even when me 920.1 and a friend with 920.3 compared pics taken both by me with same settings, my 920.1 won :winktongue:
