I like the images..they look good for an 8MP camera but kinda hate the oversharpening artefacts.

I totally agree... Also indoor low light pictures are meh.

Don't forget, alternate camera Apps may smooth out shots in some situations. ProShot is very granular control. Camera360 Sight is fast point and shoot. There are a metric ton of camera Apps on W10M. Try a few.

Has anyone tried alternate camera apps on the lumia 650..?
Do manual controls work..?

How different will the processing be from the native camera app. This will be very interesting to see. I think there is an option to tone down the sharpening in ProShot app.

OK... I truly love, love, LOVE telling Cortana to "Send this picture to my computer."

I think this came out well considering. The nasty little dog was pulling at her leash. I had to kneel down and trap the leash end under my leg. One shot, manual tap to focus; I also LOVE the Rule of Thirds. Shot with Camera App in HDR and tweaked with Choose Best Lighting.

These look pretty good at phone screen size. A lot of graininess if you look at them at 100% size. Not half bad for the amount of light though. Microsoft Camera, no edits.

OK this makes 7 in a row for me. Where is everybody? Hello? Hello? Is this mic on?

I think this came out well, especially considering how far in I cropped it from the 6MP original. Otherwise untouched, Microsoft Camera, full auto.

@RumoredNow, I haven't taken any interesting pictures with it. Maybe this one is the most interesting. It's a bit noisy but I like how the colors came out.

Back on the 650 after a brief 3 week hiatus... Snapped this one this afternoon. For 6MP (@ 16:9) this thing takes great still life closeups.
