Is it possible to flash a Verizon free firmware onto my Icon?

I recently gave my old Icon to my sister who needed a decent phone for school, however she wanted to go with ATT. We've gotten the data and other services working, except for picture messages. It has the most recent consumer release build of W10 on it, so I'm unsure if it's even possible to avoid bricking now. But if anyone knows if I can flash it with so its no longer tied to Verizon, please let me know.

There is another thread on this forum that describes how to enable MMS messaging on the Icon. I am now able to send/receive MMS messages on Cricket, an AT&T subsidiary, so you should be able to do the same.

Yes it's a registry hack for mms settings on Verizon phones used on AT&T. I use to do it with my ATIV SE.

As for flashing a non-Verizon rom, it's not possible unless you have a method to unlock the bootloader and disable secure boot.
