Thanks to each and every one of you who attended the meetup yesterday. You helped make it a total success, again! It was very nice to hand out Nokia shirts and energy drinks to you. I hope your shirts fit well and that the energy drink tastes good. I still haven't tried my drink! Heh.
I completely forgot to get a picture! Oh well. We had two new faces this time, which is fantastic. I hope we can add at least two new faces at each meetup. It seems that the majority of attendees are pretty serious developers. That's great, because I should have a real treat for you for the June meetup. It will be development-focused. Keep your eyes here and I will be discussing the future meetup and its contents very soon.
I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge the apps made by some of our attendees. This is not a comprehensive, complete list.
Elizabeth created Bookshelf, an app that helps you keep track of all your books: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/apps/a5d639ca-fc42-4e5c-8ccf-28fa6c4a17aa
Shubho created MetroLink Timetable, which is self-explanatory if you live in the STL area: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/apps/a0dfe5ec-b0fa-4d1a-99f7-01017bbd33b7
Shubho also helped create the WUSTL Dining app: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/apps/42c29cbf-5b48-4ce5-a1a4-d1fc6551c4d9
Giri created getHired, which is a job search engine aggregator: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/apps/f8b913a0-ffbd-4d3e-9da3-0965a22631a1
Elizabeth also maintains a page that lists all the WP7 apps created by Washington University students: Wash U Apps
As I said, keep your eyes here over the next week. I should have more info regarding the exciting developer oriented June meetup.
