After a long, long hiatus, (sorry about that) we have a new meetup date confirmed! This time we'll meet at the Microsoft Store where we have a private room reserved. The Microsoft Store has an in-house theater with several tables where they do presentations. That's where we'll be. You can find the Microsoft Store on Level 2 near Nordstrom, next door to Sephora.

Do pay close attention to the start time: 11 AM. We have the theater from 11 AM - 1 PM. Bring your own food to the theater. Microsoft has said they'll provide drinks for us. Thanks, Microsoft!

I'll be giving away some new Nokia t-shirts and some other items. Nokia has been very, very good to the St. Louis WP Meetup! Thanks, Nokia.

What exactly do you do at these meetups?

They're primarily a social event. Just eating lunch, having some beers (or not), showing off new phones, apps, mods, Windows tablets and other Windows Phone and Windows related things. It's simply a gathering of like-minded individuals enjoying their tech gear with one another. We always have a nice time.

Plus, I always hand out items given to me from Nokia or Microsoft. T-shirts, notepads, mouse pads, mice, phones (sometimes), and whatever else I can get from our benefactors.

Going to be nice to get the group back together. Last I looked there were 26 that had RSVP'd as attending!

Buddy, If i wasn't on the way to camping with friends, i would have LOVED to do this. Danville IL is a 2 1/2 hour drive, way close enough to enjoy this. I will be keeping my eyes open for the next one you do.
