Science Fiction:

All three original Star Wars (Empire Strikes Back is my #1 favorite movie of all time) and "Revenge of the Sith" (I will tolerate the other two just out of pure fandom), "Cloverfield", the Arnold Schwarzenegger version of "Conan" and the first "Terminator", and all the recent Marvel Universe movies.

Action:

"Silverado", "Speed", "The Rundown", and my second favorite film of all time- "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

Comedy:

"Airplane", "Dodgeball", "Animal House", "Dead Men don't wear Plaid", the original "Arthur", and John Wayne's "McKlintock".

Drama:

"Apollo 13", Alfred Hitchcock's "Lifeboat", "We were Soldiers", "Leap of Faith", and the amazing "The Passion of the Christ".
