Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I wasn't sure if there's 'h' or not, so i put it anyway :d

I've got relatives who buy clothes even they don't like it at all. But they get it cause that's the current fashion.

Then you're like my grandfather when it comes to lottery. There's a show 'TV Bingo' he plays every friday. Whenever i go outside our town i have to get him at least one ticket.
But he's a bit more extrem i think.

No h. :) When I think of the name of this particular garment I'm at a loss as to where the name came from. LOL!

The latest trends are now set by YouTube personalities. Typically young teens that the audience can 'relate' to. They're supplied with clothing from stores and push fashion trends on a weekly basis for the sole purpose of making money for themselves and the stores. Good gig if you can get it I suppose if you're without guilt or morals. Sad part is that there's people out there (mostly teenage girls) with closet full of clothes that they only wore once or not at all. I question the parents on this as well for letting it happen but this is the 'thing' these days.

Don't get me started on crap parenting...

I may be like your 'grandfather' but I'm probably not the same age! LOL!

Never had chance to visit a casino. And if i had, i don't think i'd gamble alot, 'cause i kinda don't like spending money, lol.
Missing the english word to describe myself with it.

Casinos can be fun if you got in there disciplined enough not to blow your entire savings. I stick to my limits very well so that doesn't bother me.

Here, crap parenting won't lead to shopping adiction, but more often to drug one.
It scares the hell out of me when i see how easy it is to get mdma, speed and especially joints.

OR, in recent years, instead of going for the drugs, more and more people are joining extrem movements.

I think drug abuse is better path in the end...

I have to admit getting the Wordflow keyboard on my Z3 would be great. So long as it works the same as it did on the L920. My wife will be pleased as well as she hates all the corrections. Saying that she's been using voice to text with Google keyboard at home and it's very good.

I would like that too. The Priv keyboard and the Google keyboard on my Maxx are annoying me these days.

Tell that to my friend. He went to bookies, played bingo, he spent 1 BAM (around 0.6 USD i think) and won 120 (~70$). So what did he do? Stayed there and played for almost an hour more, and guess what, he lost all the money.

What I meant about 'crap parenting' is the typical middle class type of parenting which lets the kids get whatever they want. To me that is crap parenting.

What you're suggesting is problematic parenting... though I have little doubt the typical middle class I mentioned above makes their kids take drugs as well..

Drug taking has been around forever. Though we don't call them 'drugs', cigarettes are drugs. Alcohol is a drug. Both are addictive and have adverse health effects.

When I was younger I could have got whatever I wanted but decided not to. I could have easily got into the 'cool' kids group that partied every weekend but decided not to.

I still managed to go to clubs and bars at 17 though (drinking age is 19 in Canada).

Sadly 'being cool' is more important than anything these days which is why we have rampant drug use these days.

That's on him. There's a small group of folks who have a gambling addiction and need medical + mental health assistance to control it.

If he's not in that boat, cannot help him because the house cleaned him out. That's on him.

They're a bit more strict in Canada and US. When I was growing up I knew of people getting in younger than I did. Girls mostly.

I find things in the EU a bit more relaxed about those things compared to Canada/US. Australia is easy going but there is a bit of a control thing going on there similar to the US/Canada. They do get raided on occasion in Canada, US, UK and Australia and the owners get a hefty fine if they're caught with under age participants. Possible loss of licence as well.

I'm pretty sure a lot of young girls still get in to clubs and pubs though in most countries...

I've only been really drunk twice and that was enough.

Here is mostly no - go for guys under 18, no problem for girls though. ID from older brothers does get you into clubs though.

One time I made a fake ID to get into a club... Funny thing about it, I was over 21 and could legally drink... Blockbuster had kept my license (said they didn't have it, but wound up calling a few days later for me to pick it up)... Anyhow, club had said a photo ID and birth certificate would work, so I made a fake photo ID for where I worked at the time.
