HELP ?Lumia 820 or Lumia 720?

Hi,
My mum has a lumia 620,she wants a bigger display; so I have decided to buy her one of this 2 devices buy (820-720). I want them to have Wireless charging; so that's the reason that I'm not going to buy a lumia 625.
Which of both do you think is better?
lumia 820 = 1gb ram (maybe my mother doesn't need it), lot of personalisation with cases
lumia 720 = better camera? better battery life?
How is the battery perfomance compared between them?

lumia 1320 is to much big hahaha, but I like it
BTW; anyone buying a lumia 620?

Major benefit to the 720 is that you are adding screen size and it is the same weight as her current phone.

The battery is actually bigger and rated better on the 720. Looks like no LTE on the 720? I will have to double check that...

We've first got to start with the difference between HERE Drive and HERE Drive+. The former provides turn-by-turn navigation in a single country or region, while the more advanced solution covers almost 100 countries. I think you could easily say the camera on the 820 is going to be better....since they are the same manufacture and it has more MPs, but I haven't read any reviews on either one.
You think the 820 looks better than the 720? Personally, I like the simplicity behind the 720's circular camera spot, but neither one would push me away on looks.

What are the costs in your area? I am not up on the prices since they aren't really readily available near me, but surely that has to come into play at some point

actually I've been led to believe the 720's camera is superior due to... something, I can't confirm it.

The 720 has the best battery life of almost any Lumia, although I don't know how the 1520 stacks up.
It has lower end internals and cannot easily have the battery swapped.

The 820 is higher end, has a removable battery, albeit much smaller. (can be swapped out for a larger one)

Take the 820 if you want 4G LTE and hate seeing "resuming" all the time, that's how wp handles it's RAM so well.

Take the 720 if you want excellent camera and almost unmatched battery life with a very high quality display. You should notice that it's alot better than the 820 especially when it comes to colour quality.


I know nothing about changeable covers or wireless charging.

720's camera kicks *** of almost any phone literally .battery life is descent too.512mb is a pain kn the ***.resuming,loading,lagging...damn.buy a 820 if you cant handle it :-\

Am using Lumia 820 only.... Very nice phone... Only problem is... Its weight... And interesting mater is, it was never hanged up, since i bought it.. Using 98 apps!!!!!!!!
