Can I have skydrive automatically upload photos to flickr?

I went to my profile and "added" my flickr account to my onedrive account. I don't see any difference though. What exactly did that do for me?

I want to have the photos in my skydrive account automatically uploaded (or synced) to my flickr account. I don't want my flickr account photos uploaded to skydrive though cause I have more pictures in that account than I have skydrive memory.

Can I do that?

Thanks.

There is a website called IFTTT.com that can automate a lot of things like this for you. (It stands for IF This Then That). I don't know of a way to do with just flickr or onedrive.

I was coming in here to suggest IFTTT too. Great site. The only recipe I have set up currently is that any time someone tags a photo of me on Facebook it gets saved to my SkyDrive (OneDrive) account. I would imagine it could do OneDrive to Flickr.

Thanks guys. That is a great website.

Bummer I can create a connection that uploads flickr photos/videos to skydrive but not skydrive to flickr. Hopefully they'll make one in that direction soon.

For now, I guess I can use dropbox instead (though I have more GB in skydrive).

Thanks a lot :).

Another bummer, dropbox doesn't automatically upload "camera uploads" into the public folder and I can't assign a nonpublic folder to ifttt.

I hope they improve that website quickly. It has a lot of promise.

Sadly OneDrive cannot be used as a "trigger" in IFTTT. You can automate the movement of things into OneDrive, but not out of OneDrive. Please write, tweet and generally harass the OneDrive team to allow this :)
