help copying from htc disire to htc wp8

Simple yes? No not when the desire doesnt allow you to copy all your phone contacts to sim in one easy move. the only way i can do it is individually which is long winded with over 150 contacts.

I have apparently managed to copy contacts to the sd card, however i can not figure out how to get the new wp phone to drag that info out and put it on the contacts list.

Any ideas?? Think this phone may be going back to orange on monday and i will get android back!

Copy them to an outlook account.

ok so done that now what? sorry just plugged sim back in but dont google mail was only option it gave me to copy to dont use it generally - tbh dont even know where it came from! so now need to get it onto phone same as before

Now use outlook on PC and download outlook connector. Then plug your phone and set the sync options you want.

Isn't Transfer my Data app available for HTC WP8 phones? I know that it's from Nokia but I'm not sure if it's limited to Nokia phones. If that's available, then you can transfer contacts through bluetooth.
