Windows 8 still waits update to prepare

I am using windows 8. I opened my Pc today, I used a few hours. Then, I opened my pc again a hour ago. It still says " Preparing to configure Windows don't turn off your computer" what can I do ?

Have you tried to install 8.1 or something like that? In any case, I think you should just wait a bit longer.

I had to shut it down. Now I am trying to restore. It is waiting on saying " finalizing file store for" minutes. Is it normal?
