I've taken several videos with my 925 and today decided to see what they look like on my computer. Double-clicking told me I have no program associated and there's no "open with" option. I tried tying it to the Zune software, no luck. Tried Quicktime - getting a "please install apple application support" error. Tried Windows Media Player. Double-clicking brings up a "Copying WP......" dialog box, then nothing. Suggestions?

So are you emailing it or just connecting and opening up the video file and trying to play it ?

I'm using Nokia Pro Cam's video, I just connect to my pc and find the video in Camera Roll, right click > then click Open and it plays in WMP or Zune

You probably have to find a MP4 file already on your PC right click > Open with
> choose default program and then choose a default program you want an MP4 to open with and check
"always use the selected program to open this kind of file" then when you double click the video > OPEN it will play.

You may not have the correct mp4 codecs installed to play those vids.. Had to do that before..

Download VLC media player that software supports almost every codec in the world ;)

A WP8 default MP4 video will play on a Windows 7 (and above ) WMP
without having to install the "correct codecs", they will be installed.
