I recently had an unfixeable hardware failure on my device which was not user induced and was wondering if the following;

I've had the phone for about 9 months now, which is under the HTC warranty as stated in the booklet supplied with the phone. I do not have the receipt of purchase (I fully the bought the phone on a pay as you go system) however, I have retained all other documentation including IMEI repair/service stickers. If a replacement is necessary, will it be replaced for free due to warranty?
