See my point?

Space to breathe, my friend, space to breathe...is what the designer of this keyboard would have said. You know what other design flaws this keyboard has? No Windows key. No Alt key. No Ctrl key. The list goes on and on.

I found that the spaces on the side actually prevent accidental input, but limit the space where I could type. I'd take more keys over this.

<EDIT>Oops, didn't realize this was the WP8 keyboard layout, I didn't see that because of how similar it is to the Win8 layout.

Well, i'm pretty sure this is just programmer lazyness, i don't know much about programming, but used to have a blog, and in css style sheet, there's a command to set the layout to auto ajust to the available space, while i know it's not the same, i think that ie is made in c++, but windows being windows, and the fact that it's the same for any app that uses the keyboard, i'm pretty sure that the keyboard layout values are somewhere inside the windows registry. This kind of restriction is why wan't jailbreak, and no, don't tell to go to android if i wan't customization, android suck balls on low end phones, while windows phone runs flawlessly on them.
