After reading the post earlier, one of the most intriguing things I walked away with are a possible new type of app.
Is this a new, separate type of app much like when Apple released iOS 7 and developers remade their apps so they would be optimized for it? And since we already have trouble getting new apps to the platform and sometimes experience updates that seem to take months to be released does this do anything at all to alienate developers who have already jumped on and/or make those who haven't built apps for Windows Phone less likely to?
Just some thoughts, feel free to sound off.
- NEW Windows Phone 8.1 apps won't run on 8.0 devices until they upgrade
