Not receiving any push notifications. Please Help!

Title basically says it all. I am not receiving any push notifications for any app. The apps all work fine when I open them, but no notifications on any of them. This started yesterday. I've rebooted the phone and uninstalled then reinstalled several apps. I've been through all the settings and can't find anything obvious. What is the next thing I can try? It's imperative that I get notifications for GroupMe, which I use for work.

Thank you ttsoldier, bit that's not the problem. I've never had the battery saver on, also my battery is fully charged.

One thing that happened to be before is that if battery level goes down and automatic battery saver kicks in, some apps won't run in the background again until you've opened them. Check the list of apps running in the background and see if the ones with failed notifications are checked or not.
