3rd column true or false?

Hey. I own the Nokia Lumia 920 and heard a rumor a few months ago that most Windows Phone 8 phones will be getting the option to have a 3rd column in 8.1.
Can someone tell me if that was just someone lying or is that going to really happen?

nokia lumia 1520 already has this. don't know about having that on smaller screens.
my opinion, it wouldn't look right..
probably just that, a rumor.

The tiles on a 1520 are roughly the same size as that on a 620.

Imagine the tile sizes on a 920 if that were the case.

I see. If they do make it available, it'll most likely be off by default, and with medium tiles as the minimum, as per rumors.

If I can remember that right, I think that I noticed a " Show more tiles" option in a leaked pic, so that could be true.

I suppose the 3rd tiles feature would be available to phones with screen sizes more than 4inches..
and i think 920 also might have it after the blue update.

Talking of 8.1.... I really hope it fixes the 920's battery issue.. I have owned two 920's now!

I have interop unlocked Samsung Ativ S and because of the unlock already have the 3rd column of tiles. Ativ is same size as the 920 and I tell you, the size is perfect. Now when I use a device with 2 columns it feels that the tiles are way too big. I couldnt go back anymore.
