Hey guys. Does anyone face with the notification problem of Facebook messenger after the last update? There is a huge time gap between the incoming messages and push notifications. Waiting for your comments and suggestions.

I get them a bit slower but it's like maybe 2 or 3 seconds after the update.

Yupp i think mine is up to 5 sec slower... Don't know if it'll work, but try reinstalling otherwise use the built in message app

I tried reinstalling about 2-3 times but nothing changed. I'm ok with 5 seconds delay it doesn't matter. Mine is completely out of push notifications for messenger :/

There is nothing to check related to the notifications on settings

Try turning off Battery Saver in settings

yup, i had this issue yesterday, .. notifications are 30mins+ late..

today it has improved, but still few seconds late

i really hope that Microsoft did indeed improve notifications in WP8 like they claim they have.

I didn't try today just I'm studying for my lessons now if so, 2-3 seconds delay is acceptable for me

Open the app, hit more options, settings and check if the notifications are indeed on..

Its on. Today its more reliable. But again not immediate like it is before.
