Windows Phone 8: Video output stream wireless....to a TV, or network device? Is there a solution to stream a video over a network to another device? Wireless? Wired?

Which windows phone do you have ? If you have Nokia device install Nokia play to app from the store , it lets you beam videos , music and photos on a DLNA certified device. I use it on my laptop and TV.

During the DLNA presentation decision making process at Nokia/Microsoft, did anyone with the authority say "Jenkins this is terrible"

The Play To app is constrained and the performance of wireless image/video display is poor, obviously no one at Microsoft has seen what Samsung did with MHL ... or at Nokia in 2006 with cable TV out

This is something that needs to be addressed, DLNA, Miracast, Beamer are all terrible ideas.

MHL please ..............it kills me to see this working on a Samsung :unhappy:

Not yet but it's rumored to support Miracast with the firmware update that will come with the official 8.1, again it's completely upto Samsung to enable
