Hello,

On my Lumia, how do I sync the default Documents folder with that on the OneDrive? so that what ever word or excel files on the phone and the OneDrive in the cloud are always in sync?

I do need them to be available offline as well, I could not find a way to do this, I can sync them with the PC, and I can access the OneDrive from my phone when I'm online from my phone, but they do not sync, only photos are syncing.

Thank you in advance.

If you have windows 8.1 on your PC , Microsoft office will save the file in onedrive and you will be able to open the same file in office app on your windows phone.

Thanks Himanshu but as I mentioned I need the other way around.

I'm out all the time (offline) and work on a lot of office files on my mobile. When I get back to my home or a WiFi zone I need a way for that Documents folder on my phone to sync with OneDrive.

Any ideas welcome.

Seems to me like the trick is to not save your docs on the phone at all. Use the OneDrive app to open whichever docs you need while you still have a wifi connection, and they should then appear on your recent docs list in Office. When you're out and offline, go ahead and do whatever edits you need to do. At that point manually save the file (hit the ... and then save) and it'll pop up a warning saying it can't upload and that a temporary copy has been saved. Then the next time you reconnect to wifi, long-press the doc in the recent list and choose upload and that should sync it back to OneDrive (you may or may not get a version conflict warning, in which case you decide which one you want to keep and which to delete).
