Violations of Manufacturer's warranty by installing *.1 preview for Developers?

I am using L720 & it is in warranty period. Now i am facing the problem of auto pressing of Back & Search button.
So i am planning to visit Nokia care for solution. But the question is did i violate the Manufacturer's warranty by installing 8.1?
If yes then what shall i do now?

I had an issue with my 920 after installing 8.1 and used the Nokia Recovery software to roll back to 8.0. The software will say you have an update available, and it's a firmware number you already have, but it works.
