Camera Quality (Lumia 925 WP8.1 Dev Prev)

General dissatisfaction with the picture quality on my Lumia 925 after the 8.1 update.. Pictures appear washed out and aren't as crisp as they used to be on WP8. Anyone else experiencing such issues?

That's weird. My 920 is fine with the 8.1. Try downloading the app called HD Photo Viewer to see the images you shot with your phone, they'll be shown in full resolution.

You may see a small improvement by entering settings/display/turn off battery saver brightness (if enabled)
Then:
Tap on Lumia color profile "adjust"
Set Color temp toward "warm" and Saturation toward "vivid"

Hope this helps somewhat...

So I tried tweaking those settings you suggested above but unfortunately I don't seem to notice any changes with the 'qualtiy' of the image.
I'm pretty sure that there is a problem here and also that its definitely a problem with either the camera hardware or the imaging software and not with any kind of settings. Just need to know which so that I can take further steps to resolve this issue.
You seem to be using a Lumia 925 as well. Are you getting the same picture quality as you used to earlier?

I'm having the same problem too but with both versions of WP (8 and now 8.1DP). I think it's hardware since I droped the phone so many times but if you find a solution let me now please. THANKS (oh i have the 520)

Two things:

1st, those two images look like photos I've taken, sometimes things are washed out because of a smudge on the lens. Did you try cleaning it?
2nd, I didn't see if you said what camera app you are using. is it the built in wp app or the nokia app?

I'm on a 920 and didn't see a change in camera quality at all. (using nokia app)

got the same problem too... images seem washed. i came from a 920 just got 925 4 days ago and pictures seems way better in 920. both on 8.1. not very satisfyed with 925 on the photos... the rest is ok.( and beautiful...)
