Major Email Issue

I have a HTC 8x running 8.1 since the day it 8.1 came out and had no issues until Sunday. I have a Gmail account as one email and I have a Live account for the other. I have been unable to do anything other than open both email tiles since Sunday. I cannot click on, open, delete emails, or sync new ones. When I go to settings and click on email + accounts I get a few seconds of loading ... and then it pops me back into the main settings menu. I have no idea how to fix this or if it has to do with 8.1 or my email or what. I'd appreciate any help.

Have you tried a soft reset? (Hold down power and volume down til it restarts. If that doesn't work, do a hard reset. (Settings, about, restart your phone)

Thank you! A soft reset fixed my Live account and allowed me to access email settings. Gmail is still acting up though, it will act like it's syncing but new emails never show up and the sync date is still from Sunday.
