No Notification on Glance after updating to 8.1 and hard reset

after updating to winphone 8.1 I had some battery issues which my battery usage rate was about 35% per hour, so I decided to do a hard reset, and after that, the option for showing notifications on my glance screen have gone, it's just like amber, (remember smaller font on glance screen before black update)

Go to settings /glance. It will ask you to restart your phone. Do it. If I'm not wrong that's what you need

Go to the store and download Lumia system updater and then run it and follow the hints.

Your glance needs to be updated after going back to 8.0
