Camera app functions

I noticed that with the Microsoft camera app in 8.1, there are nine settings that you can use, but only 5 buttons to assign them to. Any setting not assigned to a button can't be accessed until you reassign a button and then click that button.
Is there a way to access the settings not assigned to a button without going through the reassignment process?

OK, I see that most are under photo settings... , it is really just camera roll, front/rear camera and lenses that have to be assigned to a button to access them. I hope they move them to the menu at some point, I don't want to have them take up button space but I do want to be able to use them sometimes.
