    If you download Lumia Storage Check (may need to Bing* it), there'll be an option to save maps on your SD card.

    Oh, okay, have you tried using the new Files app to manage your map data?

    Really? I see Map Data on mine. Are you sure you've downloaded your maps?

    Oh, it isn't the entire map data, just associated files. Hm, I'm not sure then, sorry!

    Not a bad work through, but it talks about installing apps From a SD card... not moving data To a SD card.... the SD card does have an option to store Maps (a check Box) I've not gotten it to work... this is possible something a developer can control or must allow in the app...

    I'm still playing around with it... if I run into an answer... I'll post it....
