Not exactly the right forum area, but its for maximum exposure to the idea of Skype becoming the integrated messenger/call app on the Windows 10 update on phone/tablet/PC to allow calls/texts from cellular network to be replied to on any windows device so long as you own a Windows phone.

Please sign the UserVoice post and have a good day

Bump. this is a good idea, Skype is one of microsoft's most valuable assets.

Idk why they are dragging their feet on it

Did Skype completely replace Messenger in WP 8.1? Being able to switch between Messenger and text in one thread was really convenient. I just upgraded to 8.1 DP and that option is gone. Kinda seems like another case of MS taking something that worked well and overhauling it.

A lot of integration was lost in 8.1 but then it opened the phone for 3rd party integration a lot more...

I love skype and its disappointing that they do seem to avoid using it when we have saw the success of facetime/imessage on iphone/ipad/mac when mac has a minute market share compared to windows

The unfortunate thing is that loading Skype takes a lot longer (on my admittedly slow L521) to load than just switching from Messenger to text. It makes it much less convenient to open it up to send one message.
